Ginger is simply at the very height o...OMG, YES!!! Ginger is simply at the very height of her mature beauty in this film. This is my benchmark for believing that a woman is at the top of her adult beauty game at age 35-36. Simply Glorious!! And no, this movie is not historically 100% accurate, but after all, the makers had to create entertainment that was to make a profit, yes?? This work was not created to be an educational film for classroom viewing, but rather good movie house fare. A Hallmark production, I've felt that this might have been a true predecessor of TV's "Hallmark Hall of Fame" series, which was terrific back in the day. Taking a romantic road of the Dolley story (and with Ginger, how could you do less??), the history wasn't really accurate. But must confess that it led me to the "Learn more about it" road, as I looked up the principals to see what really happened. If "Magnificent Doll" is the impetus to others doing the same, then it fulfilled a mighty purpose. I too recommend that everyone find a copy and watch this movie! Plus, this is the only time I recall seeing Ginger riding a horse sidesaddle!! Enjoy the movie! Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16552391680181243460noreply@blogger.com
